Job summary

Miraval Arizona Resort and Spa seeks a dedicated Yoga & Meditation Instructor to guide guests through group classes and personal sessions, fostering presence and mindful exploration. The role emphasizes authenticity, practice, and collaboration within a guest-centered setting.

Responsibilities include leading Hatha and other yoga classes, offering mindfulness-based sessions, and contributing to the ongoing development of Miraval's wellness programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification; 500-hour certification preferred.
• At least 4 years of in-person teaching experience across diverse populations.
• Minimum 5 years of personal yoga and meditation practice.
• Demonstrated experience in formal meditation techniques and mindfulness modalities.
• CPR/First Aid Certification required.
• Willingness to teach across various yoga traditions and adapt to guest needs.
• A spirit of humility, curiosity, and continuous learning.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, guest-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead inspiring and inclusive group classes in Hatha Yoga and other yoga modalities.
• Facilitate one-on-one sessions in yoga and meditation, offering personalized guidance.
• Deliver meditation experiences including Mindfulness, Pranayama, Lovingkindness, Yoga Nidra, Walking Meditation, and Sound Baths.
• Engage with guests in a meaningful way, creating a safe and nurturing space.
• Collaborate with fellow instructors and resort colleagues to uphold program integrity and excellence.
• Participate in departmental meetings, peer reviews, and ongoing professional development.
• Maintain studio cleanliness and organization, contributing to the serene environment.
