The role reports to the Director of Compliance and requires strong analytical, interview, and writing skills, plus knowledge of Title IX, Title VI, and related statutes within a university setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; J.D. or advanced degree preferred in related fields.
• Minimum three years of professional investigations experience in discrimination/harassment.
• Knowledge of federal/state laws affecting higher education and civil rights.

Responsibilities

• Conduct impartial investigations, develop plans, interview witnesses, gather evidence.
• Draft clear, professional correspondence and comprehensive investigative reports.
• Provide consultative support and maintain confidentiality in sensitive investigations.
• Stay current on laws such as Title IX/VI, VAWA, Clery Act and related guidance.
