Job summary

The University of Chicago seeks an Investigator, Resolution Services/Deputy Title VI and IX Coordinator, a full-time role reporting to the Director of Resolution Services. You will lead independent investigations into complaints against faculty, researchers, and third parties, ensuring compliance with Title VI/Title IX and related laws while coordinating with campus partners.

You will develop notifications, interview parties, draft reports, monitor training, and contribute to the university-wide

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement is a college or university degree in a related field.
• Experience conducting investigations of harassment, discrimination, or misconduct is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and document investigations independently or with others as primary investigator into complaints alleging discrimination, harassment, or sexual misconduct.
• Prepare position statements and notify parties; interview witnesses; coordinate with campus partners on policy compliance.
• Lead drafting of reports and outcome letters; coordinate with the Disciplinary Committee as needed.
• Assist with youth protection program development and related trainings and outreach initiatives.
• Monitor reports, provide initial responses, and support CARES response team as needed.
• Analyze data and participate in cross-functional policy and process development.
