Job summary

Smart Tech Contracting seeks a Lead EPMS Field Technician to lead installation, startup, and commissioning of EPMS and BAS controls in mission-critical facilities. You will direct subcontractors, configure devices, and ensure on-time delivery with client liaison across data centers and industrial settings.

The role emphasizes EPMS delivery with strong electrical/mechanical knowledge, field supervision, and collaboration with design engineers, suppliers, and clients in the Virginia/DC region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years EPMS/controls experience, with at least 2 years EPMS-specific.
• Willingness to travel and relocate to VA/DC area.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation and coordination of EPMS/BAS controls.
• Configure devices, troubleshoot Modbus networks, test equipment.
• Coordinate subcontractors and manage field operations.
• Provide project updates and documentation to clients.
