Job summary

SmartTech Contracting LLC in Washington, DC area seeks a Lead EPMS Field Technician to lead EPMS/BAS installations and commissioning for mission-critical facilities. You will coordinate subcontractors, configure power monitoring systems, and ensure testing, start-up and closeout meet project requirements.

The role requires strong EPMS experience, Modbus troubleshooting, metering knowledge and the ability to work with design engineers, contractors and clients across data centers in the region.

Qualifications

• Experience with EPMS and BAS controls installation, testing and startup.
• Knowledge of power monitoring, metering, gateways and Modbus communication.
• Ability to read AE drawings and coordinate with subs and clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead EPMS/BAS controls installation, testing, commissioning and closeout.
• Direct subcontractors on site and coordinate start-up services.
• Plan schedules, review progress and provide regular client updates.
• Support RFIs, change orders and project documentation.
• Ensure safety, QA/QC and client acceptance of systems.
