Job summary

Summa Health in Akron, Ohio seeks an experienced Epilepsy Specialist within the Summa Health Neurosciences Institute. The role focuses on advanced diagnostics, surgical pathways, and collaboration with diverse neurology and surgical teams.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in Neurology is required.
• Completion of an Epilepsy fellowship is required.
• Preference for an experienced epilepsy physician with interest in complex epilepsy management.
• Current Ohio medical license or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• 100% epilepsy practice with a fully staffed neurophysiology laboratory.
• Mix of clinic and inpatient/EMU settings.
• Engage in teaching, lectures and resident education.
• Collaborate with regional neurosurgical partners on epilepsy surgery.
