Job summary

Summa Health Medical Group is seeking an experienced Epilepsy Specialist to join the Summa Health Neurosciences Institute in Akron, Ohio. This role focuses on comprehensive epilepsy care with access to advanced diagnostics, surgical options, and an established outpatient neurology referral network.

The position offers collaboration across neurology, neurocritical care, and stroke services, with opportunities for research, academic appointment with NEOMED, and a signing bonus or relocation

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in neurology required.
• Completion of an epilepsy fellowship.
• Interest in teaching, research, and resident education.

Responsibilities

• Practice 100% epilepsy care in a mix of clinic and inpatient/EMU settings.
• Collaborate with neurology, neurosurgery, and partners across Summa Health Neurosciences Institute.
• Participate in education, research, and clinical innovation within the epilepsy program.
