Job summary

Summa Health seeks an experienced Epilepsy Specialist to join the Neurosciences Institute in Akron, Ohio. The role focuses on comprehensive epilepsy care with access to advanced diagnostics and surgical options, contributing to program growth and innovation.

You will work in a setting with a fully staffed neurophysiology lab, EMR via Epic, and opportunities for research, education, and academic collaboration with NEOMED.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.
• Completion of an Epilepsy fellowship.
• Preference for an experienced epilepsy physician with interest in complex epilepsy management.
• Current unrestricted Ohio medical license or ability to obtain an Ohio medical license.
• Interest in teaching, lectures and resident education.
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered, team-based care.
• Interest in clinical innovation, technology and advancement of epilepsy treatment.

Responsibilities

• Provide 100% epilepsy specialty care within Summa Health Neurosciences Institute.
• Collaborate with neurosurgical partners on epilepsy surgery and OR participation.
• Participate in teaching and resident education.
