Job summary

Summa Health is seeking an Epilepsy Specialist to join the Neurosciences Institute in Akron, Ohio. This role focuses on comprehensive epilepsy care within a system committed to innovation, diagnostics and surgical treatment pathways.

The provider will work across clinic and inpatient/EMU settings, collaborate with neurology and neurosurgery teams, and participate in education and research initiatives, with potential NEOMED academic appointment.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology.
• Completion of an Epilepsy fellowship.
• Interest in teaching, lectures and resident education.

Responsibilities

• Provide 100% epilepsy care in clinic and inpatient/EMU settings.
• Collaborate with neurology, neurosurgery, and other care teams to advance the epilepsy program.
• Engage in research, education and program development within Summa Health Neurosciences Institute.
