Job summary

Alameda Electrical Distributors & California Service Tool is seeking an ERP Systems Administrator (Epicor Eclipse). This role owns the Eclipse ERP across divisions, ensuring data accuracy, system uptime, and user support while supporting growth.

Preferred Hayward, CA location with a 100% remote option. You will configure Eclipse, manage upgrades, support EDI trading partners, and deliver reports and dashboards to drive operations and finance. Strong Eclipse and ERP experience is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience administering a distribution ERP system; Epicor Eclipse strongly preferred.
• Understanding of distribution workflows, including order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, pricing, and rebates
• Report writing experience, plus SQL or MultiValue query experience
• Solid Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, and PivotTables; Power Query experience preferred
• TCL (Terminal Control Language) experience in a MultiValue/Pick environment preferred
• Scripting experience in Python, VBA, or Pick BASIC preferred
• Ability to translate branch and counter problems into system changes, and explain them back in plain language
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities with little supervision
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Own Eclipse system configuration, including control records, branch setup, and system-wide parameters
• Manage release upgrades and patches from testing through cutover
• Serve as the primary contact with Epicor support, opening and tracking cases
• Provision and deprovision Eclipse users, maintain role-based security templates
• Onboard and maintain EDI trading partners for customers and suppliers, monitor the EDI queue
• Own the product file across both divisions, including new item setup and data quality audits
• Build and maintain Report Writer reports and administer Phocas dashboards
• Support warehouse systems, including RF scanning, label printers, and cycle counts
• Provide tier-2 Eclipse support, develop training materials and system docs
• Lead change management for Eclipse, including testing and change logs
• Manage relationships with Epicor, EDI provider, and Phocas; support disaster recovery planning
