Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is recruiting for a senior IT/healthcare systems role focused on leadership, project coordination, and workflow optimization. The position emphasizes expert guidance during high-impact incidents, knowledge sharing, and cross-team collaboration with vendors to enhance enterprise platforms.

Ideal candidates will have 7+ years on enterprise platforms (EHRs/ITSM/ERP), strong communication, and the ability to mentor colleagues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Epic/Workday/Application certification(s) required; ability to achieve additional certifications as needed.
• Lean Green Belt certification or ability to achieve.
• Preferred: Project Management certification (PMP/CAPM).
• 7 years experience with enterprise platforms (EHRs/ITSM/ERPs).
• Able to advise less experienced team members and communicate effectively at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Leads projects and manages tasks with minimal oversight.
• Estimates hours for upcoming projects to aid planning.
• Recommends workflow modifications and collaborates with vendors on standard solutions.
• Directs configuration of features and security settings; develops test scripts and workflow diagrams.
• Mentors staff, covers managerial responsibilities when needed, and supports new team members.
