Apex Systems (Everforth Apex) is seeking an Epic Willow Inpatient Consultant to support a large-scale healthcare technology initiative. The role is remote, a 6-month contract with potential extension, starting in late October, with duties spanning design, build, testing, validation, and go-live activities.

The ideal candidate will have extensive Epic Willow experience, strong inpatient pharmacy workflow knowledge, and a proven consulting background with healthcare clients.

Qualifications

• Epic Willow Inpatient certification.
• Minimum 5 years of Epic Willow experience.
• Multiple Epic implementation or optimization projects.
• Strong understanding of inpatient pharmacy workflows.
• Experience with medication management, dispensing, verification, and order sets.
• Proven consulting experience working with healthcare clients.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of Epic Willow Inpatient applications.
• Lead system design, build, testing, validation, and go-live activities.
• Collaborate with clinicians, pharmacy teams, and operational stakeholders to gather requirements and recommend solutions.
• Document system design, workflows, and technical specifications.
• Provide end-user education and knowledge transfer as needed.
• Assist with troubleshooting, optimization, and post‑implementation support activities.
