UnitedHealth Group is seeking an Epic Willow Inpatient Analyst to design, build, and support pharmacy workflows across client environments. You will collaborate with clinicians, pharmacy leaders, and IT teams to deliver scalable Epic Willow solutions that enhance medication management and operational performance.

This role offers remote work within the U.S. with an in-office minimum four days weekly in select locations.

Qualifications

• Active Epic Willow Inpatient Certification is required.
• 3+ years in healthcare industry experience.
• 3+ years of Epic Willow build, configuration, and support experience.
• Experience designing, building, testing, implementing, and optimizing Epic solutions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for Epic Willow Inpatient application design, build, and support.
• Partner with clinicians and stakeholders to evaluate workflows and develop scalable Epic solutions.
• Lead Willow-related enhancements, upgrades, and optimization initiatives.
• Provide guidance to improve medication management and operational efficiency.
• Translate business/clinical requirements into system configuration and specs.
• Facilitate design sessions, requirements gathering, and validation activities.
• Lead small to medium projects through the SDLC lifecycle.
• Perform configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
• Participate in upgrade planning, new functionality evaluations, and release management.
• Maintain documentation and change control artifacts.
• Monitor performance and identify optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate across teams to align goals with clinical workflows and IT solutions.
• Support end-user adoption with training and knowledge sharing.
• Provide production support, incident management, and on-call support as needed.
