Job summary

Med Center Health seeks an Epic Training Manager to lead the strategy and execution of Epic training across the system. You will oversee onboarding, ongoing education, and proficiency development for staff, ensuring seamless adoption and long-term optimization of Epic modules.

You will manage a team of educators, collaborate with clinical, operational, and IT leaders, and drive curricula aligned with organizational priorities and workflows.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in EHR or IT training, adult learning/education, applications support or related experience.
• Experience working directly with Epic and/or IT systems strongly preferred.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• Epic training and certification in assigned training tools and applications required; certification exams must be completed within three attempts.

Job description

The Epic Training Manager is responsible for the strategic planning, coordination, and oversight of Epic training programs across Med Center Health. This role ensures that all staff receive effective onboarding, Epic-led training, and ongoing education to support proficiency, adoption, and long-term system optimization. The Epic Training Manager defines the vision for the organization’s Epic training program, manages a team of continuous educators, and partners closely with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders to align training efforts with organizational workflows and priorities. The position provides strong leadership, curriculum management expertise, and develops training strategies that support successful Epic implementation and sustained end-user engagement.

Minimum Qualifications

• Three years of experience in EHR or IT training, adult learning/education, applications support or related experiencerequired.
• Experience working directly with Epic and/or IT systems strongly preferred.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Healthcare, Education, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field required.Master’s degree preferred.
• Epic training and certification in assigned training tools and applications required.
  Employees who are not certified at the time of hire or transfer must complete the designated Epic training and certification
  program(s) within the assigned timeframe for their role and/or assigned application(s). Certification exams must be successfully completed within three attempts.
