Job summary

OST Workforce seeks an experienced Epic training leader to drive the enterprise training program across DSOHF. You will oversee strategy, curricula, staff, readiness, and effectiveness for Epic implementations, upgrades, and workflow changes.

The role partners with application managers and clinical leaders to assess needs, develop standards, and monitor outcomes, including go-live support and post-go-live training across diverse clinical settings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Epic EHR training program management.
• 5+ years Epic implementation, upgrade, or optimization experience.
• 3+ years leadership of Epic training teams.
• 3+ years development of Epic training curricula and materials.
• 3+ years Epic training methodologies and adult learning principles.
• 3+ years project management and implementation experience.
• Epic certification/credentialing highly desired.
• Experience supporting behavioral health, long-term care, or complex healthcare environments (2 years).
• Experience managing training for multi-site or enterprise Epic environments (2 years).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Epic training team, including trainers, curriculum development, and training operations.
• Develop and maintain enterprise Epic training strategies, curricula, materials, and training standards.
• Coordinate training activities for Epic upgrades, implementations, workflow changes, and new functionality.
• Partner with Epic application managers, analysts, clinical/business leaders, and governance groups to assess training needs and readiness.
• Establish training plans, schedules, communications, and readiness milestones for system changes.
• Monitor training completion, effectiveness, competency, and user feedback; develop corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure training content aligns with approved Epic workflows, organizational policies, and operational requirements.
• Support go-live and post-go-live training activities, including at-the-elbow support when appropriate.
• Standardize training processes across DSOHF facilities while accommodating differences in behavioral health, long-term care, developmental disability, and other clinical environments.
• Provide regular status reporting, performance metrics, risks, and recommendations to Epic leadership.
