Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Medical Center is seeking an Epic Principal Trainer to design and deliver training for Epic users across ambulatory, inpatient, and billing modules. You will develop curricula, create eLearning modules, and collaborate with SMEs and IT teams to ensure training aligns with clinical and operational needs.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and the ability to travel between facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience designing Epic training curricula and materials.
• Proven ability to deliver engaging Epic training to diverse users.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Demonstrated leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
• Travel between facilities to support training needs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Epic training curricula for assigned modules.
• Develop eLearning content and manage classroom sessions.
• Lead and co-facilitate training with SMEs and applications analysts.
• Assess training effectiveness and update content post-implementation.
• Coordinate with operational leaders to align training with workflows.
• Deliver refresher sessions and support during system upgrades.
