Job summary

Epic welcomes engineers to join its campus-based training team, delivering in-person and virtual sessions for physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff. The role encompasses instructional design, material creation, and live delivery, shaping the user experience as they transition to Epic.

You will collaborate in teams to craft workflow-based training content, partner with organizations to develop training, and engage in projects that enhance our software usability across diverse care settings.

Qualifications

• Lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare users.
• Develop training materials and scenarios for Epic users from instructional design through delivery.
• Willingness to travel 25-60% of working days, with occasional trips lasting 2–4 days.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area reimbursed.

Responsibilities

• Design workflow-based training content in collaboration with teams.
• Work with healthcare organizations to tailor training programs.
• Contribute to projects to improve Epic software usability and effectiveness.
• Serve as the first point of contact for staff and users during training.
