Job summary

Optum Health Networks is seeking an Epic Trainer to prepare, facilitate, and follow up on Epic training activities for the OHN team. The Epic trainer will work directly with the OHN Leadership and within their assigned market.

Ideal candidates are independent contributors with experience training Epic applications in provider practice settings. You will need high emotional intelligence to navigate divergent goals and challenging situations, and strong interpersonal communication to engage

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• 3+ years of Epic experience in a provider practice setting and/or related training.
• 2+ years of training experience.
• Pass Epic Credentialing panel within 60 days of start.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with limited supervision.
• Proficient with Windows, Microsoft Office, and Team meetings.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel up to 10%.
• Willing to work flexible shifts 8:00am-5:00pm with possible overtime.

Responsibilities

• Train Epic applications for new hires and Thrive sessions.
• Deliver in-person and virtual classes.
• Coordinate training scheduling and monitor service tickets.
• Support the training team and manage training content in LMS.
• Participate in Upgrade and M&A projects.
• Travel to training sites as required.
• Serve as training resource for clinical and operations staff.
• Prepare, manage and maintain training classrooms.
• Train additional applications as needed.
