Job summary

Epic is seeking a Trainer to lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare users. The position is based on our campus in Madison, WI, with relocation to the area and reimbursement provided.

You will shape the training experience as staff transition to Epic and help save lives through effective education. As part of a collaborative team, you’ll design instructional materials and scenarios, develop workflow-based content, and work with client

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or greater in any field.
Prior education, teaching, or performance experience preferred.
A track record of academic and professional success.
Willingness to travel 25–60% of working days; typical month includes 1–2 trips lasting 2–4 days.
Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Relocation to the Madison, WI area reimbursed.
COVID-19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

Lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare users.
Be the first point of contact for many staff and users.
Shape the training experience as they transition to Epic and assist in saving lives.
Involve in instructional design to develop training materials and scenarios.
Design workflow-based training content with teams and client organizations.
Travel to client sites as needed.
Collaborate with teams to make our software more intuitive.
