Job summary

Epic, based near Madison, Wisconsin, is seeking a Trainer to lead in-person and virtual training for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare users. The role involves shaping the staff's experience as they transition to Epic, delivering training sessions, and serving as a helpful first point of contact.

You will design training materials and scenarios, collaborate with teams to create workflow-based content, and participate in projects to make Epic more intuitive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in any major.
• Experience in education, teaching, or performance preferred.
• Proven track record of academic and professional success.
• Willing to travel 25–60% of working days; typical month includes 1–2 trips.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Relocation to Madison, WI area reimbursed.
• COVID-19 vaccination required.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and healthcare users.
• Serve as first point of contact for staff and users during the transition to Epic.
• Develop instructional design and training materials and scenarios.
• Collaborate with teams to design workflow-based training content.
