Job summary

Children's Mercy in Kansas City is seeking a Lead IT Systems Application Analyst to design, implement, and maintain complex enterprise applications. You will lead cross-functional teams, mentor peers, manage vendor relationships, and drive system upgrades.

The role is entirely remote or work-from-home, with the candidate residing in the Kansas City metro area and occasional on-site meetings. Epic-Beaker certification and Haemonetics SafeTrace experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in relevant field with leadership experience preferred.
• Bachelor's or higher with 5–7 years in user areas or related fields and leadership experience preferred.
• Associate's degree with 7+ years in user areas or related fields and leadership experience preferred.
• HS diploma or equivalent with 9+ years in user areas or related fields and leadership experience preferred.
• At least one Epic certification relevant to the department required within 120 days of hire; Epic certification training if not already certified in latest Epic EHR version.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of complex computer information systems, including configurations, software programs, databases, and network infrastructure.
• Provide end-user support, resolve technical issues, train end-users, and collaborate with system users across application areas.
• Lead cross-functional teams in requirements, design, development and implementation of new systems including Epic and related systems.
• Manage vendor and external partner relationships to ensure quality products and services.
• Mentor and train junior team members and provide leadership and communication support.
