Job summary

Piedmont Health Services, Inc. is seeking a Dental Patient Access Representative to support appointment scheduling, registration and referral management across our network. The role involves high call volume, text communication, and ensuring timely, accurate dental scheduling within the OCHIN EPIC system.

Educational requirement is a high school diploma with a strong emphasis on excellent communication and HIPAA compliance. Bilingual Spanish/English is preferred; Dentrix experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma, High school diploma.
• Required: Excellent communication skills. Must have EPIC WISDOM experience.
• Preferred: Bilingual Spanish and English. Preferred 1–2 years of Dental Scheduling and customer service in a dental health care setting. Dentrix experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages large amounts of inbound Dental calls and texts in a timely manner.
• Register, Schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments for multiple sites and dental providers following set guidelines.
• Identify Emergency Situations and follow Triage Protocol.
• Demonstrates understanding of HIPAA requirements to ensure caller privacy.
• Coordinate appointments across the PHS network focusing on dental services.
