Job summary

Dayton Children's Hospital seeks an Epic Revenue Cycle Trainer to master Epic Patient Access and billing workflows. You will bridge end users with Epic build teams and lead training planning, materials, and access governance.

Hybrid role in Ohio requiring both onsite and virtual training; minimum 1–2 years revenue cycle experience; High School diploma required, Associate degree preferred. Epic Training Certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires 1–2+ years of revenue cycle experience (registration, scheduling, prior authorization, patient estimates).
• Epic Training Certification preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Experience developing training materials (lessons, tip sheets, e-learning, videos) preferred.
• Hybrid training role requiring onsite and virtual instruction.

Responsibilities

• Master the Epic application and departmental workflows for Patient Access and billing.
• Serve as SME on end-to-end Epic Revenue Cycle data flow.
• Plan and coordinate Epic training for staff; develop policies and procedures for training and access.
• Build and maintain the training environment, curriculum, and test data.
• Collaborate with Epic teams and end users to review and optimize the system.
• Assist with testing upgrades and new functionality.
• Hybrid training: conduct both onsite and virtual sessions.
