Job summary

ECU Health is seeking an Application Analyst to implement, enhance, and support Epic Revenue Cycle applications. You will define requirements, design solutions, test, and document processes while coordinating with end users and vendors.

The role requires 2+ years in IT with vendor application experience, strong testing and documentation skills, and the ability to work independently within change control and SLAs. Remote-based from Greenville, NC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or healthcare field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of progressive IT experience with vendor application implementations and support.
• Experience in testing software applications.
• Ability to effectively support applications.
• Works independently with quantifiable and qualitative results.
• Ability to conduct analysis, document findings, draft plans, execute, monitor and follow up.
• Self-motivated to seek knowledge and continued learning.
• Recognized as a knowledge source on primary applications (functional and technical).
• Maintains current vendor certifications and ongoing education.

Responsibilities

• Takes initiative to meet with end users for ongoing workflow reviews for enhancements.
• Evaluates, tests, and implements defect patches, upgrades and releases per change control.
• Recommends business process and technology driven enhancements.
• Analyzes and resolves simple to moderate issues.
• Produces clear professional and technical documentation.
• Manages own work plan and supports team efforts.
• Stays informed on market trends and technology developments.
• Determines solutions with minimal assistance within authority.
• Adheres to change management standards and SLA for incidents and requests.
• Communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Collaborates with others to meet team expectations.
