Job summary

Clarity Partners LLC seeks a Clinical Informaticist to serve as the clinical informatics liaison between HIS and clinical operations for an Epic implementation within one assigned domain—pharmacy/medication-management or perioperative/anesthesia. You will facilitate governance participation and support workflow design, validation, and go-live readiness for a large-scale public sector client project.

Ideal candidates require 5+ years in clinical or pharmacy practice, hands-on Epic implementation

Qualifications

Degree required for the applicable track: Track A - Pharmacy: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited school of pharmacy.
Track B - Perioperative/Anesthesia: Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related clinical discipline.
Advanced degree in Clinical Informatics, Nursing Informatics, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of clinical or pharmacy practice experience, preferably within a large hospital or integrated health system and in the track's clinical area.
Clinical informatics, pharmacy informatics, or healthcare technology implementation experience, including EHR workflow design, clinical transformation, or optimization, strongly preferred.
Recent, hands-on Epic implementation experience strongly preferred, including participation in workflow previews, future-state validation, testing, readiness, go-live, and stabilization.
Clinical background in one of the following tracks required, with direct experience in the listed Epic applications strongly preferred: Track A - Pharmacy: Willow Inpatient, Willow Ambulatory, Willow Inventory; Track B - Perioperative/Anesthesia: OpTime, Anesthesia.

Responsibilities

Support design, validation, testing, implementation, and optimization of workflows within the assigned clinical domain.
Facilitate Epic workflow previews and future-state validation sessions.
Ensure appropriate departmental and frontline representation throughout the implementation.
Identify workflow, safety, readiness, and cross-functional impacts within the assigned domain.
Document outcomes and required decisions arising from workflow and governance sessions.
Coordinate dependencies and escalation issues through the appropriate governance structure.
