Job summary

The role requires strong collaboration with IT and clinical operations, plus active Epic certification and an informatics certificate. Expect a Monday–Friday schedule with regular site rounding and audits for data integrity and compliance.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in clinical operations, hospital IT, or healthcare vendor/consulting.
• Bachelor’s degree; MSN/Healthcare Informatics preferred.
• Active RN/BSN or other clinical licensure.
• Active Epic Certification in at least one core clinical application.
• Informatics certificate required; Lean Certification and Epic specialty modules preferred.

This position involves the evaluation, documentation, and streamlining of clinical workflows within both ambulatory and inpatient environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Workflow Optimization & Strategy: Evaluate, document, and streamline clinical workflows for ambulatory and inpatient environments.
• System Support & Rounding: Conduct regular clinical site rounding to identify and resolve operational challenges.
• Implementations & Upgrades: Analyze new software releases and manage end-user readiness, policies, and training strategies.
• Stakeholder Bridge & Mentorship: Serve as the liaison between clinical operations and IT, providing guidance to junior informatics team members.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 6 years in clinical operations, Hospital IT, or Healthcare vendor/consulting environment.

• Certifications & Licensures:
• Active Nursing Licensure (RN/BSN) or other active professional clinical licensure.
