Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a strategic leader to guide the Epic and clinical informatics portfolio, aligning long-range roadmaps with enterprise priorities. The role manages budgeting, capital planning, and vendor coordination across Medical, IT, Privacy, Legal and Compliance teams.

You will translate business requests into technical requirements, drive use-case development, and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables within a fast-moving, matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of related experience in healthcare, strategy, finance, or healthcare IT/informatics.
• Experience with Epic (EHR) and/or healthcare delivery settings.
• Strong analytical, problem-resolution, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with strategic planning, roadmap development, and portfolio or financial management in a healthcare IT or informatics setting.
• Experience with large, cross-functional projects; knowledge of clinical applications and the healthcare industry.
• Ability to bridge communication among technical and non-technical project staff and customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strategic roadmaps for the Epic and clinical informatics portfolio.
• Review Epic roadmap features to assess applicability and fit.
• Identify risks early and develop mitigation plans with business partners.
• Translate requests from business users into clear, actionable deliverables.
• Lead creation and fulfillment of use cases and requirements with IT resources.
• Coordinate tasks, estimates, and sequencing with Project Managers.
• Support vendor upgrades and system changes from a strategic/financial perspective.
• Analyze current-state processes and define future-state improvements.
• Own project deliverables and scope documents, gap analyses, and impact assessments.
• Participate in budgeting and procurement processes for the organization.
