Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; healthcare experience and 1+ year in admissions/collections; college degree may substitute.
• CHAA certification preferred; knowledge of HIPAA and payer rules is beneficial.
• Strong Microsoft Office and EMR familiarity; ability to interpret complex insurance documents.
• Excellent telephone communication and customer-service skills; reading and understanding physician orders.

Responsabilités

• Train staff on authentication of orders from providers and pre-registration calls.
• Pre-register patients for scheduled procedures and register walk-ins with orders.
• Verify insurances, obtain referrals, and ensure correct patient data entry.
• Educate on HIPAA, forms, and regulatory requirements across departments.
• Develop and deliver computer-based and classroom training modules.
• Assist in competency assessments and schedule-related duties as needed.
