Job summary

University Hospital is seeking a self-directed IS professional to plan, develop, implement and support clinical information systems in New Jersey. You will analyze, test and implement procedures, develop testing strategies and maintain detailed project plans with training materials.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 3 years of information systems experience, and Epic certification within 6 months. Strong communication, organization and collaboration with end users and vendors are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a health-related or related field.
• Three (3) years of experience in information systems.
• Epic experience and certification within 6 months of training.
• Ability to maintain and assist in managing project work plans.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
• Organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides analysis, design and support of hospital systems, including testing, training, implementation and on-going support.
• Documents, communicates and assists in problem determination and resolution.
• Updates and maintains detailed project plans.
• Interacts with end users, vendors and other related areas to gather requirements and compile data.
• Assists in the installation of software and/or hardware systems and ensures standards are met.
• Develops and maintains training materials and documentation.
