Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking an experienced IT Support professional to provide intermediate-level support for multi-user clinical operating systems, hardware, and software. You will translate end-user needs into optimal configurations and builds for clinical applications, with emphasis on problem solving and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Certification/licensure when applicable.
• Associates or technical degree; extensive IT/operations experience allowed in lieu of degree.
• Minimum 5 years IT application or related operational experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with users and IT staff to resolve clinical information system issues.
• Plan, design, develop, train, implement, and evaluate clinical information system functionality.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade operating systems and application software/hardware.
• Develop and maintain training materials; participate in testing and quality improvement activities.
• Serve as liaison between departments and ITS to ensure system support and user satisfaction.
