Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System in Georgia is seeking an IT professional to provide intermediate support for multi-user clinical operating systems, hardware and software tools, including installation, configuration, maintenance and user training.

You will translate end-user needs into optimal configuration of clinical applications, troubleshoot issues, and participate in project work to improve workflows and patient care.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or technical degree; extensive IT/Operations experience possible in lieu of degree.
• Minimum of five years IT application or related operations experience.
• Certification, if applicable.
• Preference for IT certifications and Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with users, ITS groups and vendor resources to solve clinical information system issues.
• Plan, design, develop, train, implement, communicate, maintain and evaluate functionality related to clinical information systems.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, maintain and upgrade operating systems and application software and hardware.
• Develop and maintain training materials; conduct training classes when appropriate.
• Lead small projects with leadership support and participate in large projects as assigned.
