Job summary

UMC Health System is seeking an IT Application Analyst-Associate to support Epic and 3rd party applications within a collaborative health system. You will help design, implement, and optimize workflows, coordinate testing, and ensure alignment with clinical and operational needs.

The role requires working with end users, IT teams, and vendors to deliver integrated solutions, with a focus on quality, reliability, and patient care. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with Epic EHR in healthcare IT preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; HS Diploma acceptable with relevant experience.
• Knowledge of clinical/workflow processes and change control.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test Epic and 3rd party applications for implementation and support.
• Perform comprehensive testing, document progress, and resolve issues.
• Facilitate workflow design and validation with end users.
• Assess workflows by interviewing/shadowing users and document improvements.
• Coordinate changes following change control processes and ensure SLA compliance.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to junior team members.
• Participate in on-call coverage and adjust hours as needed.
