Driscoll Children's Hospital in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking an Epic Nursing Informatics Analyst III to design, configure, test and support Epic applications. This role interfaces with clinical staff and IT to optimize workflows and patient care.

The ideal candidate has RN licensure in Texas, 8 years of professional experience, and Epic certification(s) within 90 days of class attendance; a BSN and a master's in nursing or clinical informatics are preferred.

Qualifications

National specialty certification attempt within three (3) to five (5) years.
Successfully complete Epic certification(s) in their applicable area within 90 days of class attendance.
8 years professional experience
BS in Nursing and master's in nursing or clinical informatics preferred.
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas.
Management is typically the next higher level.

Responsibilities

Understanding of the organization, users and workflow in the analyst's assigned area.
Ability to lead meetings, prioritize, resolve conflicts, manage issues, oversight and implementation of project plans.
Ability to probe for information about underlying needs to influence Epic system builds.
Review, analyze and test system changes; follow change control processes.
Assist in development, implementation, education, evaluation, maintenance and coordination of Epic applications.
Develop training materials and communicate changes to leadership and users.
Maintain Epic user accounts and participate in webinars and testing for new developments.
Coordinate with Epic partners and vendors for upgrades and demonstrations.
Perform other related work as required.
