Job summary

Driscoll is seeking an Epic Nursing Informatics Analyst to lead the design, build/configuration, testing and ongoing support of Epic applications within the health system.

The role requires deep knowledge of Epic workflows, strong project leadership, and collaboration with Nursing and IT teams; Texas RN licensure and 8 years of experience are preferred. On-site role in Corpus Christi, TX.

Qualifications

• Epic certification within 90 days of class attendance.
• 8 years of professional nursing/informatics experience.
• BS in Nursing; master's in nursing or clinical informatics preferred.
• Licensed RN in Texas.
• Management is typically the next higher level.

Responsibilities

• Understand the organization, users and workflow in the assigned area.
• Lead meetings, prioritize, resolve conflicts, manage issues and implement project plans with Epic TS and Analysts.
• Probe for information to inform how the system will be built.
• Review, analyze and test every system change following change control.
• Assist in development, implementation, education, maintenance of Epic applications.
• Develop tip sheets or training docs and communicate updates to leadership and users.
• Maintain Epic user web account for discussions, trainings, and release notes.
• Attend webinars and vendor demos; assist with system upgrades as needed.
• Maintain contacts with Epic partners and vendors; coordinate demonstrations.
• Perform other related work as required.
