Sentara Health is seeking an IT Specialty Analyst to support Epic Hospital Billing and Revenue Cycle applications. This role focuses on analyzing issues, understanding Epic configuration, and ensuring changes align with end-to-end workflows.

A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with 3+ years of IT/Revenue Cycle experience; Epic Hospital Billing experience is strongly preferred. The position is on-site in Virginia Beach, VA with comprehensive benefits and competitive pay.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree preferred; 5+ years IT/Revenue Cycle experience with or without degree.
• Epic Hospital Billing experience strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical and technical aptitude required.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze application issues and workflows to identify root causes and solutions.
• Understand Epic master files, configuration, and relationships within the system.
• Evaluate impacts of configuration changes on downstream workflows.
• Support Epic Hospital Billing workflows including workqueues, billing, statements, and related Revenue Cycle functionality.
• Translate operational needs into technical requirements and sustainable solutions.
• Troubleshoot by examining configuration, data, and system behavior.
• Test and validate changes to minimize unintended downstream impacts.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle operations and IT teams to understand end-to-end workflows.
• Maintain documentation and follow change management processes.
• Continuously develop knowledge of Epic Hospital Billing and Revenue Cycle workflows.
