Job summary

Carilion Clinic in the United States seeks an experienced Epic Application Analyst III to support hospital billing systems. You will analyze Epic workflows, manage projects, translate business needs into technical solutions, and maintain documentation across modules.

The role requires an Associate’s degree (or 2 years of relevant experience), plus at least 3 Epic/vendor certifications. Occasional after-hours on-call and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or 2 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Must obtain and maintain a minimum of 3 vendor/industry certifications.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to work with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Conducts intermediate to advanced analysis of Epic application design and system workflows.
• Independently manages assigned projects and ensures timely delivery.
• Translates business needs into system solutions with minimal supervision.
• Develops and maintains documentation for Epic and integrated third-party applications.
• Mentors analysts and contributes to team knowledge sharing.
• Participates in an on-call rotation, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
