Job summary

Baton Rouge General Medical Center seeks an Epic Credentialed Trainer to deliver instructor-led Epic end-user training across clinical, revenue cycle, access, and other staff using BRG-approved curricula.

The role requires BRG credentialing, clinical familiarity, and strong communication and coaching skills to prepare staff for go-live and ongoing training while protecting patient privacy.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a healthcare setting.
• 2+ years of experience with personal computers.
• Proof of credentialed trainer status earned by Epic certified principal trainer; BRG credentialing completed.
• Maintain credentialed status as required by BRG.
• Excellent English grammar and spelling.
• Preferred: prior experience teaching, training, or precepting adult learners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led Epic training using BRG curriculum and scripts.
• Assess learner proficiency and provide coaching and support.
• Prepare classrooms, verify access, and manage training materials.
• Support go-live and post-live training activities and post-training coaching.
• Protect patient privacy and ensure training aligns with current build and workflows.
