Optum is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead Epic Healthy Planet integration projects within its EHR Services practice. You will work remotely from anywhere in the U.S. and travel ~25% to meet client needs, with some onsite requirements in major hubs.

You will guide design, build, testing, and implementation of Epic solutions, mentor teams, and ensure alignment with clinical workflows and change control processes throughout the project lifecycle.

Formación

• Active Epic certification in Healthy Planet and at least one additional application (Ambulatory, Care Everywhere, EpicCare Link or MyChart).
• 5+ years of experience in the healthcare industry.
• 4+ years of experience with Epic implementation and/or support.
• 3+ years of direct client-facing experience with healthcare domain knowledge such as clinical workflows and patient flow.
• Willing/able to travel approximately 25% of the time.

Responsabilidades

• Provide Epic Healthy Planet SME: design, build, test, and implement.
• Collaborate with leadership and end users to design/config solutions and provide technical/clinical consultation.
• Lead multiple Epic upgrade initiatives and workflow enhancements through all project phases.
• Lead design/validation sessions with thorough documentation and issue escalation.
• Maintain system design docs and build records.
• Monitor production apps and respond to incidents; participate in on-call support.
• Execute unit, system, and integration testing for EpicCare Ambulatory workflows.
• Analyze workflows and reporting needs to support solution development.
• Work with training teams to develop application-specific materials.
• Translate business requirements into functional specs; manage updates and release testing.
• Ensure change control and configuration compliance.
• Build relationships with end users, stakeholders, and business partners.
• Facilitate cross-team communication from requirements to implementation.
• Troubleshoot issues and escalate complex problems as needed.
• Maintain deep knowledge of Epic functionality and workflows.
