Job summary

King County Public Health — Seattle & King County is seeking an EHR Epic Support Analyst Supervisor (Functional Analyst IV) to lead a team of Epic Functional Analysts and ensure high levels of customer service and system stability.

The role requires coordinating Epic projects, providing training, and partnering with KCIT to implement enhancements while aligning with equity and social justice principles. Hybrid onsite/remote work in Seattle area.

Qualifications

Epic EHR system experience with supervision
Strong leadership and staff development skills
Experience coordinating Epic projects and resources

Responsibilities

Supervise and coach a team of Functional Analyst IIIs and IIs; manage workloads and performance
Define team goals, manage work products, measure progress
Coordinate staffing with Epic PPMIVs and cross-team resources in a matrix structure
Analyze projects, develop solutions, and recommend Epic system improvements
Facilitate facility changes and equipment moves for the Epic team
Collaborate with Epic stakeholders, including Public Health leadership and KCIT
Oversee day-to-day Epic EHR operations: access, queues, issues, and communications
Lead Epic training efforts and ensure end-user readiness for changes
Incorporate budget, policy and regulatory considerations into plans and implementations
Plan system requirements and evaluate requirements for Epic enhancements
