Job summary

Charles B. Wang Community Health Center seeks an EHR Support Analyst (ESA) to support Epic, train users, and optimize workflows.

This hybrid role requires on-site presence at multiple Manhattan and Queens locations 3–4 days per week, with a focus on resolving issues and aligning Epic functionality with the center’s needs. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Health Informatics, Healthcare, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 5 years of Epic experience in healthcare setting.
• Strong understanding of healthcare operations and change management.
• Experience with Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) is a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Participation in rotating on-call schedule, including weekends or evenings as needed.
• Must be available to work on-site 3 to 4 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, daily support to clinical, operational, and patient care teams for Epic use.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and equipment issues; escalate when needed.
• Communicate resolutions to users and ensure issues are closed.
• Maintain Epic configurations such as preference lists, SmartPhrases, provider records, and templates.
• Collaborate with OCHIN and internal stakeholders to adopt and optimize Epic features and upgrades.
• Participate in testing of new Epic functionality prior to deployment.
• Serve as Epic subject-matter expert in clinic meetings and liaison with CBWCHC and OCHIN.
