Job summary

Public Health – Seattle & King County seeks an EHR Epic Support Analyst Supervisor to lead a team of Epic Functional Analysts, ensuring high customer service and quality standards across the Epic system.

In this role you will coordinate training, system changes, and project management, working with KCIT and other stakeholders. The position emphasizes equity and social justice as part of daily duties in a hybrid office setting in Seattle, WA.

Qualifications

• One year of direct supervisory experience and development of a team.
• Experience in electronic health records management and health information management.
• Experience with the Epic electronic health record system including interfaces with labs.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, lead, train, and support a team of Functional Analyst IIIs and Functional Analyst IIs.
• Develop and monitor work plans, workloads, staffing plans and work schedules.
• Collaborate with Epic Project Program Manager IV colleagues to coordinate project resourcing across the Epic Support team.
• Co-lead planning and project management for the Epic system and delegate staffing.
• Collaborate with Epic Support Team to manage projects and provide analysis and solutions.
• Work with Epic PPMIVs to coordinate facility changes within the Epic Support Team.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders of the Epic system, such as management and project teams.
• Manage day-to-day operations of Public Health’s Epic EHR system, including access management and queues.
• Oversee training for Epic users and system changes, upgrades, and new implementations.
• Provide guidance for training and support with division-level Epic teams.
• Incorporate budgetary and regulatory considerations into work plans and projects.
• Plan and assist in developing system requirements and testing changes.
• Perform system monitoring and coordinate resolution with vendors and KCIT.
