Job description

Public Health — Seattle & King County's Administrative Services/Office of the Director (ODIR) is seeking interested applicants to fill a Career Service vacancy as an EHR Epic Support Analyst Supervisor (Functional Analyst IV) within our Epic, Health Information and Records Support Team. Public Health – Seattle and King County (PHSKC) provides direct healthcare services at over 30 locations, some of which operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Those services rely heavily on the use of the Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) to document care for patients served. This position will play a key role in supporting Epic users and customer satisfaction by supervising a team of Epic Functional Analysts; ensuring the highest level of customer service to King County Epic users; establishing, maintaining, and advancing quality standards; supporting quality training efforts across PHSKC’s Epic users; coordinating efforts with King County Information Technology (KCIT) where necessary; and playing a leadership role in system implementation and maintenance activities. The selected candidate will integrate King County's Equity and Social Justice principles into the daily functions of this position.

Background

The Administrative Services Division partners with the Public Health Department to provide efficient and effective services to support healthy people and communities. The Administrative Services Division includes teams that support the department with financial services, compliance, records management, health information technology, risk management, contracts and procurement, facilities support, and support for the intersection of our work with information technology.

Note: This recruitment will be used to create an eligibility pool to fill additional Career Service, Term-Limited Temporary (TLT), or Special Duty Assignment (SDA) vacancies that may occur over the next six months.

Commitment To Equity and Social Justice

Named after Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., one of the most influential civil rights leaders in our nation's history, King County is a vibrant international community with residents that represent countries from around the world. It is a region with increasing diversity that cherishes the traditions of many cultures.

The county government has a deep commitment to equity and social justice and advancing practices, strategies, and policies that promote fairness, justice, and opportunity for all – in our workplaces and our communities. With this commitment, King County has adopted a pro-equity agenda to advance regional change and ensure that residents from all communities are incorporated into our emergency planning and public outreach efforts.
