Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Five years of progressive experience as a systems/tech analyst with design, programming, and testing of application programs (clinical systems preferred).
• Two years of progressive leadership experience overseeing cross-functional teams and staff development.
• Current Epic Clinical Application certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure staffing coverage, performance oversight, and professional development of IT staff.
• Set and monitor team KPIs and productivity metrics aligned with dept. objectives.
• Promote a positive team culture focused on accountability, innovation, and high-quality service.
• Serve as liaison between IT, clinical operations, and executive leadership for inpatient clinical apps.
• Collaborate with nursing, medical, and ancillary departments to optimize workflows.
• Partner with vendors to stay informed on best practices and system capabilities.
• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of projects related to inpatient clinical systems.
• Ensure projects meet objectives on time and within budget.
• Champion change management for go-lives, upgrades, and redesigns.
• Oversee daily operations, incident management, and system performance.
• Promote interoperability and data integrity across clinical systems.
• Review configurations and workflow designs before deployment.
• Oversee vendor contracts and SLA adherence.
