Job summary

CVS Health seeks an Epic EHR Development Lead to drive design, configuration, and optimization of Epic solutions across clinical, operational, and revenue cycle domains. You will lead teams, enforce standards, and partner with clinical stakeholders to align development with strategy and regulatory requirements.

You will oversee integrations (HL7, FHIR, APIs), support testing, upgrades, and complex Epic enhancements while ensuring patient safety and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Certified in one or more Epic modules (Ambulatory, Healthy Planet or both)
• 7+ years of Epic EHR experience with hands-on build and configuration
• 3+ years in a lead, senior analyst, or supervisory role supporting Epic systems
• Strong understanding of healthcare clinical workflows and operations
• Experience leading complex Epic projects or large-scale implementations
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Lead Epic analysts, developers, and configuration teams across modules
• Serve as primary escalation point for Epic development issues
• Define and enforce Epic development standards and governance
• Align Epic development with clinical workflows and organizational strategy
• Oversee Epic integrations (HL7, FHIR, Bridges, Interconnect, APIs)
• Guide upgrades, patches, and special updates
• Translate clinical needs into technical Epic solutions
• Support go-lives and post-implementation optimization
• Monitor system performance and data integrity
