Job summary

Del Norte Community Health Center is seeking a Site EHR Specialist to provide direct support for Epic in the clinic, assist with troubleshooting, and optimize user experience for clinicians and staff. You will coordinate training for new staff and upgrade sessions, work with advisory groups to maximize EHR features, and ensure timely communication of changes to end users.

Strong teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
Two years of experience in a similar role.
Knowledge of a practice management system.
Knowledge of ODCHC clinic operations preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide direct support to clinical operations and patient care teams to facilitate the introduction, acceptance, integration, and optimal use of the Epic application in the clinic.
Provide daily support to Epic applications users through troubleshooting, coaching, and consulting.
Identify and troubleshoot application issues as they occur, owning the problem and seeing it through to full resolution.
Work with advisory workgroups to optimize use of the system through implementation of new Epic PM and EHR features and upgrades.
Attend appropriate clinic meetings as Epic expert.
Coordinate training to new clinic staff and providers and support upgrade training.
Provide competency/efficiency training for existing users.
Attend and participate in ODCHC sessions for interest-raising, problem-solving, or training topics.
Assist in providing expertise or resources (i.e. handouts) to support sessions.
Ensure any changes to EHR are communicated to end users in a timely and understandable manner.
