Job summary

County of Riverside’s Information Services Department seeks a Credentialed Trainer to support Riverside University Health System in Moreno Valley. You will train healthcare professionals on EPIC/EHR systems, develop materials, and provide on-site support to ensure quality patient care.

You will coordinate Epic Champion communications, travel to RUHS locations, and help with performance improvement initiatives while earning CT credentials within six months. This role follows a 9/80 schedule.

Qualifications

Experience training healthcare staff on EPIC and EHR systems.
Ability to develop and maintain training materials and tip sheets.
Experience delivering classroom instruction and staff training.
Must obtain EPIC Ambulatory credentialing and CT Credentialing within six months.

Responsibilities

Conduct trainings in the operation and use of software and application systems to staff.
Update classroom materials including lesson plans and curriculums; train users on software.
Maintain technical documentation and procedures for using software systems.
Consult with users; administer tests on information provided.
Develop course curricula and training materials; coordinate with partners.
Monitor trouble calls; ensure timely resolution of system issues.
Troubleshoot software problems and coordinate with analysts as needed.
Review software and workflows; test software and applications.
Inform users; provide recommendations on training design and response time.
Support go-live and post-live training; provide in-service training.
