Job summary

Baton Rouge General is seeking an Epic Enterprise Project specialist to implement, support, and optimize Epic applications across the enterprise. You will work with clinical and technical teams to improve workflows and patient care.

Ideal candidates have Epic training or certification, 2–5 years in a related field, and a IT degree. Strong service orientation, communication skills, and problem-solving are essential; on-site hospital environment experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Epic training or testing completed.
• Epic certification preferred.
• 2–5 years experience in a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in IT preferred.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Ability to identify and resolve technical issues and test changes.

Responsibilities

• Provide software support to internal users for Epic and related systems.
• Serve as primary end-user contact for Epic applications.
• Identify and resolve Epic issues across teams.
• Guide workflow design, system building, and testing.
• Implement system changes as requested by stakeholders.
• Communicate with Epic representatives and attend project team meetings.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to meet deliverables.
• Develop understanding of operational needs and assist workflow optimization.
• Provide training and support for end users.
• Troubleshoot issues and maintain communication with leadership.
• Monitor project status, deliverables, and team communications.
