Job summary

Baton Rouge General in Baton Rouge, LA seeks an Epic Systems Analyst to provide internal software support for Epic, ensuring workflows meet business needs. The role requires 5+ years of Epic experience, current Epic certifications, strong customer service, and collaboration with Epic reps and IT teams.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience providing direct Epic support.
• Current and active Epic certification required.
• Strong knowledge and expertise in Epic functionality and workflows.
• Ability to identify and resolve technical issues and implement changes.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills with users and Epic reps.
• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide software support to internal customers for applicable operating systems and subsystems.
• Manage maintenance, upgrades, and efficient use of software systems.
• Serve as the liaison between end users and technical staff to ensure the system meets business needs.
• Act as the primary support contact for the application's end-users.
• Identify and resolve issues within the application and across other teams.
• Guide workflow design, system building, testing, and analysis of technical issues.
• Implement system changes as requested by stakeholders.
• Communicate regularly with Epic representatives and attend project team meetings.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to meet project deliverables and timelines.
• Develop an understanding of operational needs and assist in workflow optimization.
• Provide training and support for end users.
• Troubleshoot issues and maintain effective communication with leadership.
• Monitor project status, deliverables, and team communications.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
