Job summary

Adventist HealthCare is seeking an experienced Epic Clinical Information System Analyst II for our Beaker Lab Department in Gaithersburg, MD. You will design workflows, configure Epic Beaker modules, test, validate, and maintain application functionality to support clinical lab operations.

Key responsibilities include incident ownership, cross‑application troubleshooting, leading small‑to‑mid projects, and ensuring solutions meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, information systems, business, or related field; experience may substitute for education.
• 5–6 years of direct clinical/healthcare operations/clinical information systems experience; Epic experience preferred.
• Epic certification in assigned application(s) required or to be obtained within timeframe; travel/on‑call may be required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze intermediate-to-advanced clinical/operational requirements and design workflows.
• Own complex incidents; perform root-cause analysis and coordinate cross-application troubleshooting.
• Plan and lead small-to-medium application projects, enhancements, upgrades, and process improvements.
• Serve as liaison among end users, leaders, Epic reps, and technical teams; ensure solutions meet business needs and timelines.
• Develop and execute testing and validation; maintain documentation and user education.
