Job summary

Adventist HealthCare seeks an experienced Epic Clinical Information System Analyst III for its Beaker Lab Department. You will lead advanced analysis, architect and validate Epic solutions, and coordinate cross-team activities to support lab workflows.

You will mentor analysts, drive complex projects, ensure regulatory compliance, and act as a trusted liaison to operations, vendors, and Epic representatives. This role requires travel and on-call readiness as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, information systems, business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 7–8 years in clinical information systems, including complex implementations and production support; Epic experience preferred.
• Epic certification required or obtainable within policy timeframe; no formal supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced analysis and enterprise workflow design across Epic functionality and integrated solutions.
• Resolve high-impact incidents; perform root-cause analysis and coordinate responders.
• Plan large, complex projects, upgrades, and go-lives with milestones and risk management.
• Act as senior liaison to operational leaders, Epic reps, end users, vendors, and IT teams.
• Establish design, testing, change control, and production support standards; ensure quality reviews.
• Mentor analysts; lead knowledge transfer and training without formal supervision.
• Evaluate capabilities and compliance; recommend enterprise improvements and sustainable Epic solutions.
• Provide leadership with status, risk, budget, dependencies; support go-lives and post-launch support.
